What is FS Reality?
FS Reality is a virtual aviation world that connects to your flight simulator. It adds a full career layer on top of your sim. You create a pilot, fly real routes between real airports, earn virtual money, and build your aviation career.
What FS Reality Is NOT
FS Reality is not a flight simulator by itself. It works with your existing simulator. You still fly in your sim, and FS Reality tracks your flights and turns them into a living career with real consequences.
What Can You Do?
- Fly for money. Accept assignments (cargo and passenger jobs), load them onto your aircraft, fly the route, and get paid when you land.
- Rent or buy aircraft. Start by renting, then save up and buy your own planes.
- Earn pilot ratings. Unlock new aircraft types by purchasing certifications.
- Manage your fleet. Own multiple aircraft, maintain them, store them in hangars, and list them for rent or sale.
- Join a team. Create or join an operator (like a virtual airline) to share aircraft, bank accounts, and fly together.
- Fly for a real-world airline. Apply to one of 600+ real-world carriers, hold a rank, and fly real bid-line schedules.
- Explore the world. Thousands of real-world airports with assignments, fuel, weather data, and available aircraft.
The World
FS Reality runs a persistent, shared world. Everything that happens in it has a lasting effect.
Every aircraft in the system is a unique entry with its real-world registration number. When you fly it somewhere, it stays there. If you’re an airline pilot flying a schedule, you’re physically repositioning that aircraft from one airport to another. The fleet state of every carrier in the system changes based on what real pilots actually do.
The world includes over 600 real-world airlines backed by more than a quarter million real-world schedules and routes, and more than a quarter million unique aircraft across all carriers and private owners.
How It Works (The Big Picture)
- Create your pilot and pick a starting airport.
- Find an aircraft to rent at your airport.
- Claim assignments, which are jobs that need cargo or passengers moved.
- Fly the route in your simulator with the FS Reality flight tracker running.
- Land and get paid. The tracker records your flight, completes your assignments, and deposits your earnings.
- Grow. Reinvest in better aircraft, new ratings, hangars, and team operations.
That’s the core loop. Everything else in FS Reality builds on it.
Supported Simulators
FS Reality works with any simulator that supports FSUIPC on Windows:
- Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS)
- Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 (MSFS 2024)
- FSX
- X-Plane
FSUIPC is required. It’s the bridge between your simulator and the FS Reality flight tracker.
Is It Free?
Yes. FS Reality is free to use.
