Rules & Limits

FS Reality has rules that keep the simulation realistic. Here’s a complete list of the constraints you’ll encounter.

  • You can only have one active flight at a time.
  • Flight start requires your pilot to be at the correct airport and on the ground.
  • The aircraft must be airworthy (current inspections, no critical maintenance).
  • Aircraft with overdue 100-hour inspections or engine overhaul limits cannot auto-load profitable assignments.

Rental Rules

  • You can only hold one active rental at a time.
  • An aircraft can only have one active rental at a time.
  • Aircraft must be airworthy to be rented.
  • You must have the required pilot rating for the aircraft type.
  • You cannot cancel a rental while a flight is in progress.

Aircraft Rules

  • Aircraft that are in active flight cannot be sold, transferred, leased, have their lease revoked, or be refueled.
  • Aircraft that are actively reserved cannot be sold or transferred.
  • Aircraft registration must be unique.
  • Aircraft settings cannot be changed while the aircraft is in use.

Assignment Rules
