How to Find & Claim Assignments
Assignments are the jobs that pay you. Here’s how to find and manage them.
Finding Assignments at an Airport
- Go to Airports and open any airport page.
- Scroll to the Assignments section.
- You’ll see available jobs departing from that airport, each showing the destination, cargo/passenger details, and payout.
- You can sort assignments to find the best-paying or most convenient routes.
Using the Assignment Search
For a broader search across multiple airports, use the advanced assignment search. This lets you filter by:
- Geographic area
- Payout range
- Weight and passenger count
- Dates
- Operator
- Distance
- Sort order
Claiming an Assignment
Click on an assignment to claim it. Once claimed:
- It appears in your Loading Area
- It’s reserved for you, so other pilots can’t take it
- It stays claimed until you remove it, put it on hold, or complete it in a flight
Managing Claimed Assignments
From the Loading Area, you can:
- Remove an assignment. Drop it so it becomes available again. You can’t remove an assignment that’s currently in progress (mid-flight).
- Put an assignment on hold. Keep it claimed but exclude it from loading on your next flight. Useful when you have more assignments than your aircraft can carry.
- Remove hold. Move a held assignment back to active so it will be loaded on your next flight.
