Your Flights, Your Ratings, and a Smarter Map
By Edwin B on

Alongside the airline career system, this update brings a rebuilt map, a training marketplace, and a complete flight tracking overhaul. To power the airline expansion, we also added over 100 new aircraft types — bringing the total to more than a quarter million unique aircraft in the system, each with a real-world registration.
The Map Got a Major Upgrade
The interactive map is now a real flight operations tool.
- Airport METAR data. Click any airport to see current conditions: temperature, dewpoint, wind, visibility, altimeter setting, and a color-coded flight category (VFR, MVFR, IFR, LIFR).
- Fleet positions. All your aircraft appear on the map with heading-aware icons, so you can see where everything is stationed at a glance.
- Route visualization. When reviewing a past flight, the actual path flown draws as a polyline on the map.
Training Marketplace
The training section is now a self-service marketplace. Browse and purchase pilot ratings (High Performance, Commercial Single, Commercial Multi, Commercial Rotor, ATP Single, and ATP Multi) with a confirmation dialog that shows exactly what you’re buying and what it costs. Same goes for aircraft type ratings, which expand which aircraft you can fly and which airlines you qualify for. The page shows every rating you currently hold and when you earned it.
Flight Details and Logbook
Every flight now has its own detail page: departure and arrival airports, timestamps, fuel consumed, a chronological event log, landing rate in FPM with color coding, and an embedded map of the actual path flown. Flight data is recorded in a new binary format that makes playback accurate when you go back to review a flight.
A new Logbook page gives you a complete, chronological record of every flight with links to each detail page. Night flight hours are now tracked separately.
Operators
The operator management pages have been expanded. The overview now surfaces total assets, active flights, members, and fleet value in one place. Assets and pilot assignments are easier to manage, and public operators are discoverable through a searchable directory.
New Pages and UI
We added dedicated pages for Banking (balances and transactions), Assets (personal aircraft and values), Aircraft (browse all types in the system), Airports (directory with facilities info), and a Getting Started guide for new pilots.
The navbar got a visual overhaul. A new airline-specific navigation bar keeps you oriented across airline sub-pages. The loading screen now shows your active bid line and carrier. New filter and selection components make searching large lists faster. Notifications got better styling and mark-as-read support.
